My practice explores the intersection of image, memory, space, and sound through contemporary multimedia approaches. Working across photography, painting, installation, and sound, I investigate the shifting boundaries between two-dimensional representation and immersive, multi-sensory experience. At the core of my work is an ongoing inquiry into how visual and sonic forms shape our understanding of time, identity, and place.
By combining photographic processes with painterly interventions and sound elements, I blur distinctions between realism and abstraction, creating layered compositions that unfold across visual and auditory registers. These works often function as spatial narratives, where fragments of image and sound interact to evoke memory, absence, and transformation. These works often operate as visual palimpsests, where fragments of imagery and gesture accumulate to form narratives that are both personal and open-ended.
Installation is central to my practice, allowing me to extend these ideas into environments that engage the viewer physically and sensorially. Sound operates as both atmosphere and structure—guiding movement, shaping perception, and activating space. Through this integration, I aim to create immersive environments in which audiences can move through and within the work, experiencing it as both image and event.
Influenced by the transient conditions of contemporary life, my work draws from personal memory and collective histories. Through fragmented portraits, landscapes, abstract forms, and sonic textures, I seek to evoke a sense of intimacy and dislocation, encouraging reflection on how we construct meaning through what we see, hear, and remember. Ultimately, my practice invites viewers to consider their own position within layered visual and sonic environments.
